Plogging, a new-generation sport that promotes a healthy lifestyle while also raising environmental awareness, will take place on May 31, 2024, on Sarıçay Street.

Organized by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University with contributions from Çanakkale Municipality, the 'Running for Zero Waste' themed Plogging Championship will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The rules of plogging, which involves collecting litter during walking or running exercises to contribute to recycling, are quite simple.

Residents wishing to participate in this fun event should form teams of six and be present in white t-shirts, sports shoes, and sports pants at Sarıçay Street No:31 by 10:00 AM on May 31, 2024.

All residents are invited to join this enjoyable activity that encourages exercise for a healthy life while also raising awareness about environmental clean-up.
